Every morning at camp, we start the day with intention, awareness, appreciation, and gratitude. During this morning ritual time called Modeh Anit (I am grateful), campers choose from options such as spirited morning shacharit (prayer), yoga, farm work, meditation, morning river mikvah, harvesting, singing, nature art, and more. This choice-based morning ritual time lasts about 20 minutes and is a camp favorite, which allows campers to engage in ways that feel relevant, accessible, and fun.
