All campers at EVW are part of a bunk- a group of around 10-12 campers who are similar in age and the gender they identify with.  Each bunk consists of 3-4 rooms in our dorm building, with 2-4 campers per room, and the bunk shares a hallway bathroom. Counselors live on the hallway with their campers.  At Eden Village West we require bedroom doors to remain open at all times- each room has a curtain that campers may close for privacy.

Rooms are not assigned until a few days before campers arrive and are not shared with families until they arrive at camp. Room assignments are based on the age of your child, information provided on your camper forms, and on mutual requests. Meeting new people and making new friends are important parts of the camp experience and build a strong community. For this reason, many families prefer not to make bunking requests.  If you do choose to request a friend to room with, Eden Village West tries very hard to accommodate the first mutual request, but does not guarantee it. To request a specific bunkmate, note this on the Camper Application.  You can also email us at welcome@edenvillagewest with any updates for bunk requests.
