Where do Campers Sleep, Shower, and Eat?

Beit Shefa

Last updated on 15 Jan, 2026

The dining hall at camp is called the Beit Shefa (Hebrew for “House of Abundance”). It is a large building that allows all of camp to eat together at the same time. Campers eat almost all of their meals with their bunks. This builds a sense of identity and community amongst the bunks and allows campers in a bunk to build deeper relationships. Occasionally, campers eat with their Tribe. Meal times are fun, delicious, and always begin and end with a blessing. At dinner, the post-meal blessing turns into an all-camp dance party led by our song leaders.
